Poster Information

FOCAPO 2003 will include a poster session for the contributed papers on
Monday, January 13, 7:30 pm 10:00 pm and Tuesday, January 14, 1:00 pm
2:30 pm at Orchid/Royal Poinciana room. Three prizes will be given to the best posters. Before the start of the session on Monday, January 13, 7:30PM, Professors Pistikopoulos and Pekny will give a 20 minute overview of the contributed papers.

The poster boards will be double sided and will be placed on stands.

Authors will be assigned a poster board in the designated area. Posters can be put up on Sunday between 2:00 and 4:30pm and Monday before 7:00 pm. The posters must be taken down on Tuesday at 2:30 pm. Posters left on the boards will be taken down and not returned.

Due to the number of posters, tables, chairs, internet and electrical hookup will not be provided.

Poster Guidelines

• The dimensions for your poster should not exceed a width of
  44 in (112 cm) and height of 42 in (106 cm).
  
  
• Use lightweight materials (not cardboard). Pushpins must be able to hold them when mounted to the poster board. Pushpins will be provided.
  
  
• Posters are requested to be prepared in English.
  
  
• Test the readability of your display before you arrive at the meeting.

Poster Prizes

There will be a panel headed by Stratos Pistikopoulos and Joe Pekny who will judge the quality of the posters, the presentation and the corresponding paper. The first prize will receive $500. The other two prizes will receive each $250. These prizes will be announced
and given at the banquet on Tuesday, January 14, 2003.
